Client: Heute Leute is a company focused on organizing alternative music and artistic events in Berlin and across the UK.
Brief: The visual identity, drawing inspiration from brutalist architecture and cellular design, aims to explore the connections between organic and inorganic systems. This serves as a visual metaphor for the vibrant clubbing scene in Berlin.
Execution: Berlin stands as the global mecca for alternative and clubbing culture. Thus, I endeavored to showcase innovation by integrating new technologies such as AI and 3D-generated images and animations. My objective was to create visuals that resonate with both club-goers and the creative community, which comprises a significant demographic at these events. Having lived in Berlin for a while, I am familiar with the city's elevated design culture. Therefore, I strived to match the standards set by the remarkable event posters found throughout the city.
My contributions encompassed the creation of the logo, social media posts, posters, printed merchandise, event bracelets, and promotional videos.
I found great enjoyment in experimenting with visuals inspired by brutalist architecture, a style with which I grew up surrounded in my neighborhood in Belgrade, Serbia.
